My Philosophy
My photography revolves around capturing candid moments that reveal someone's truest self. I prefer to keep my shoots simple, allowing an individual's character and personality to take center stage. My priority is guiding clients in a way that empowers them to feel beautiful and self-assured, freeing them to focus on the moment. I’m constantly inspired by nature, music and films that draw me to create photos reminiscent of movie stills.
My Story
Ever since I could remember I’ve always been drawn to art. Growing up I was fascinated by drawing, painting and anything that allowed me to create. In college I was drawn to film and videography, looking for a way to tell a better story. I minored in film and interned under my school’s Athletics' Department shooting and editing sports content. Through this I found an absolute passion for capturing and creating digital media whether it was film, photography or editing.
When I moved to Oahu for graduate school I became really curious about photography. I was constantly inspired to document all the stunning scenes of the island. From there I became more and more comfortable behind a camera and was interested in capturing anything possible.
Four years later and I’ve developed a deep passion for creating unique and beautiful photos and sharing that love with other people. As someone who grew-up extremely “camera-shy” one of my favorite parts of being a photographer is capturing someone’s true self and taking photos that they look and feel good in.
Now based in Carlsbad, CA, I am actively seeking new opportunities to collaborate and create. I’m open to traveling and love exploring new places, especially, if that means I’ll get to bring my camera along with me!
